Open Water Scuba Diver Course

Overview:

Take your first step into the world of scuba diving with the PADI Open Water Diver Course — the most recognized scuba certification in the world. Over a few days, you’ll learn dive theory, practice essential skills in shallow water, and complete four open water dives around Navy Island and nearby sites. Upon certification, you’ll be qualified to dive independently with a buddy up to 18 meters (60 feet) anywhere in the world.

• Full PADI Open Water Diver course (theory, confined water, and open water dives)

• PADI-certified instructor

• All scuba equipment and learning materials

• Boat transfers to dive sites

Duration:

3–4 days (depending on student progress and weather conditions)

Coco Diving Center, Trincomalee

Requirements:

• Minimum age: 10 years

• Must be able to swim

• Medical fitness to dive (a short health form will be completed)

• GoPro Rental: USD 15 per trip (download footage before leaving the center)
